My encounter with oriental medicine-東洋医学との出会い

My encounter with oriental medicine

たくさんの情報I have been suffering from back pain since junior high school.

Needless to say,I was taken care of by an orthopedic doctor and later at university hospitals.

Even so, it didn’t get any better, so I looked for various advertisements such as healing or reputable folk remedies.

As a result, it is my feeling and conclusion、『Both modern medicine and folk medicine can’t heal me.』My pain did not require surgery because it is not so serious.but it was hard to endure the pain.

There was a lot of information about back pain, but nothing good worked for my back pain.

In the first place, back pain was not the only concern for my body. Mental instability, dizziness, sleeplessness, and sudden deafness were also my concern.

Back pain treatment is for only back pain
Treatment for vertigo is only treatment for vertigo
Treatment for Insomnia is only treatment for insomnia
Treatment for sudden deafness is only treatment for sudden deafness.

The more I get a treatment, the more I am busy.

If the doctors give me drugs, I would take several drugs.

Can I solve all my problems this way?

No.

Understanding what my own body is doing to make my life easier

Why aren’t my pain cured?

What is happening to my body?

I want to know more about my body.

With such a thought,I entered the acupuncture school because it was the closest to my home at that time.

Acupuncture and moxibustion schools taught me about the human body.Anatomy, physiology, pathology, disease mainly in Western medicine. Oriental medicine is a rough concept. There was a lot of “knowledge about humans” there.

After graduating and then getting my license, I worked at an eye clinic, acupuncture clinic and the Oriental Medicine department at a university hospital.

Finally,I started to work independently as patients often asked me for acupuncture and moxibustion treatments.

At a university hospital, I administered acupuncture to many patients.

I applied acupuncture treatment for the following diseases and symptoms.

Depression, mood disorders, mental illness.Patients hospitalized for cerebral infarction, heart disease, etc.People with orthopedic diseases such as neck and back pain.

I spent many days with a doctor, treating people with various diseases and conditions concurrently with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and Western medicine.

From these various clinical experiences, I felt that it was necessary to understand the whole body and to decide on a treatment rather than to stick to the symptoms.

When I looked at a patient, I saw his whole being and treated his illnesses not individually but holistically.
